The week in review on tumblr. Here we go, guys – right index finger at the ready!
- Fabulous gif of Richard Armitage Filmstar by richardarmitage-poland
- Yungarnet wrote up her experience at Hobbitcon
- Saw this funny post by violate-max only a week late. Still funny, though
- Bilboonly points out the difference a reversed scene makes
- Alyssaybethancourt asks the *real* questions
- Chapter 4 of Loving Gin by Zeesmuse on RAsexualfrustration. It is lovely to follow the child Thorin’s initiation into adulthood. And this one is particularly cute…
- Mezzmerizedbyrichard takes us back to May Day 2013. Whot? You don’t know what happened then? Well, better click the link and check!
- No idea when richardarmitage-poland posted this, but this gif set of Lucas is too good not to link in
- Oldie from last August: armitaaaaage made a list of all the chaRActer days on tumblr
- A short Thorin fic with some Khuzdul lessons (and fluff) by supercoolkitty on thorinoakenshieldconfessions
- I already loved Norloth’s silhouette of RA as a graphic, but now she (?) has somehow cut it out. I’d love to have one of those 😀
- Do you suffer from Armitagitis? Jollytr has collected a handy list of symptoms
- This. In a frame. On the wall. Moving. Thanks Thorinoakenshieeld
Not much this week? Well, maybe that is because some of the discussion focussed on some other crap topic. Believe me, I have an opinion. It might not be what you *think* goody-two-shoes Guylty thinks. My chief weapon is surprise…surprise and fear…fear and surprise…. my two weapons are fear and surprise…and ruthless efficiency…. My three weapons are fear, surprise, and ruthless efficiency…and an almost fanatical devotion to the fandom. But I spare you the expletives. Fandom get your act together. It’s quite simple, actually:
To quote a famous Californian during the famous LA riots, “Can’t we all just get along?.” I don’t see why not.

Completely agree.

Oh, I have an opinion too. Had it for some time, actually…. But. Back to the topic. That silhouette is gorgeous and I’d love to have one! Armitagitis symptoms list is excellent, and I suspect we’ll keep adding to it…

Unfortunately Norloth has not reacted to my comment :-D. But yeah, gorgeous it is.
The Armitigitis list was one of my favourites, too.

I had a feeling that post of mine might make it on here. Over 150 notes on a single sentence. (Not that the reblogs captured my sublime tags. 😉 )
Thanks as always for the roundup, Guylty!

That was a great question and offered posibilities for hilarious answers.

LOL – it was á point. That resonates :-D. Just went back to check the tags, but can’t see them on your page 😦

That would be because apparently I had a crappy theme that didn’t allow my tags to show on my page, only on my dashboard. D< Fixed now.

Great. And as I said, you ask all the questions 😀

I have an opinion too – you know what it is. Everyone else… meh! I’m at the point where I’m ready to stab at them with my steely knives…erm… needles. The Big 10.5MM ones…. yeah…. that’s it…
Does one TRULY SUFFER from Armitagitis? I do not wish the cure, if that’s the case.
Thanks again for the shout out!

You are welcome. I intend to push anything that I like. Your stories are part of that 😀
As for the Armitagitis – I can live with it.

Thanks Guylty! I love the silhouette, definitely plan to live with Armitagitis, awesome that the leather question got over 150 responses. I have tunnel vision and only go to blogs, tumblr accounts that I enjoy. I read IMDB for about a minute before I decided it was not for me. One of the things I like/admire most about you Guylty is your positive and fun attitude!

I think that is a good strategy, Tree. Fandom is about fun. (Somehow they got the vowels mixed up…)

Yeah, Armitagitis can be exacerbated by irresponsible viewing of gifs and pics 😀 Beware!!

Guylty, I have sent you an email in regard to my case of Armitagitis, which you have exacerbated terribly this week with your *ooof*s and your shrines and your weekly roundup. Just wanted to make sure you got it.

Apologies for the delay. I had a busy day today – charitable ventures all of them, with bag packing in the supermarket, babysitting my goddaughter and doing a free concert shoot in the evening. Phew. Have just replied to you by mail 🙂

I didn’t mean to be stalkery. I’m just always paranoid about emails ending up in the spam folder. Sounds like your day was a minor miracle. And you somehow also find the time to be a patron saint of Armitageworld. ❤

No no no, wasn’t perceived as stalkery :-D. I know exactly what you mean.
As for busy days – love ’em. The more I have on my list, the more I get done. RAworld activities are actually my relaxation. Complement each other perfectly 🙂
(PS: Just replied to another mail!)

Thanks for the mention Guylty! Hard to believe it’s been a whole year since I saw Richard that evening. The memories will remain with me always. 🙂

It was just lovely to re-experience that particular event. When we first got all the reports and then the recording, it was clear what a great evening that had been. So it was well-worth re-reading that.
