Due to completely unforeseen circumstances, I had to leave the weekly round-up at that. (I have had to travel home as my father is critically, life-threateningly ill in hospital, a complete shock for me.) Please forgive me if my replies to your comments and e-mails are erratic – I am spending much time at the hospital and don’t have internet access until I get home in the evenings. I hope you have nonetheless found some fun and interesting stuff from tumblr.

Manche Dinge dauern halt. Bzgl. des Lego LN könnte ich auch glatt nochmal in eine Verlängerung mit diesem Spielzeug gehen. Und dabei habe ich es fast schon geschafft und muss Nachts nicht mehr befürchten, barfuß auf so ein Teil zutreten 🙂

Just coming back from a wedding in Italy, I have read two completely different news at the same time : the illness of your father for which I feel really bad for you and all your family and the standing ovation for Richard for his first performance of The Crucible. Life is black and white as usual. I hope all the best for your father. I know how you can feel. Just be sure we all of us are near you all around the world. Looking at your RAPS and thinking of you and praying for you.

It is weird, isn’t it – we always wonder how the sun can shine when we are feeling like crying. Well, it’s all part of the same cycle, and I do not begrudge Mr A his success and happiness at a time where I am everything but. In a way, it fills me with quiet happiness that he is doing so well, and it calms me in some weird way, in my own emotional turmoil. So keep sending RA all your love – and I will feel just happy in the knowledge that things are going well for him…
