Armitage Weekly Round-up 2016/18

Forgive me for being a bit short today. I still have visitors floating around, so my time has been a little bit scarce, especially as work has been exceptionally busy lately. (Fashion fiend Guylty has been tasked with writing fashion intros for a shopping web page. 1000 words on “Gucci belts” *eeek*. I mean, I am an expert waffler, but you have no idea how long 1000 words can be…)

Anyhow, just to remind you that tomorrow is mothers’ day in many countries of the world, so grab the phone and ring the one and only mum you have. Richard is off the hook, btw. No, he’s got a mum and he really owes her some thanks cos it appears as if she’s done a spiffing job with her boy. But UK and Ireland mother’s day was already back in March, so no more flowers and pressies for me and all my other fellow mothas over here.

    #7 und #9: Was täten wir nur, wenn du nicht in pädagogischer Zwangshandlung unseren RA-Horizont erweitertest?! Den Beweis, dass auch Richard Knautschzonen hat, muss man erst mal finden.

    #8: Jau, er hätte auch einen guten Elf abgegeben. (Aber lass das bloß nicht Thorin hören!)
    Nebenbeibemerkung: Das Ding ist mit “pls contact me if this is yours” getagt – ist also wohl nicht das Werk von Siennamargeaux.

    Hab kürzlich den Roman verschenkt (und einen kleinen roten Drachen als Beschützer und Gegenmittel 😉 ), und ich bin schon schwer gespannt, ob die Empfängerin anschließend Lust auf gemeinsames Gucken hat (und – falls ja – Zeit dafür findet). Zum Richarding werde ich sie wohl nicht bekehren können (keine Ahnung, die Frau! *Näschen rümpf* *gg*), aber ich arbeite trotzdem dran, höhöhö.

    #13: Bin ich gemein, wenn ich zugebe, dass ich mehr zum Lachen tendiere? 😛

    • Einmal Pädagoge, immer Pädagoge. Ich möchte euch nicht dumm sterben lassen, also muss ich euch auch die süffisanten Beiträge hier anzeigen *grins*. Es soll ja schließlich ein gerundetes Bild entstehen. Dazu gehören auch die Rundungen des Schätzchens… ahem.
      Re. #10 – jaja, das sind so die hinterlistigen Strategien der Fans. Man schenkt ahnungslosen Nicht-Fans die Romanvorlagen, um dann ganz beifällig mal anzubieten, man könnte ja auch die Verfilmung mal anschauen… Viel Spaß dabei 😉
      Wetter war heute nett – erst zwar Regen, dann trocken, und plötzlich schwitzten wir geradezu. Habe meinen ersten Cappuccino des Jahres auf einer Terrasse eingenommen. Guter Tag!

      • *entrüstete Unschuld heuchel* Ich möchte betonen, dass ich weiß, dass sie das Buch zu schätzen wissen wird (oder schon zu schätzen wusste), und es kam außerdem passend als Urlaubslektüre.

        Ob wir uns Dolly zusammen ansehen oder nicht, wird sich noch herausstellen. Wäre allerdings interessant zu sehen, ob sie Thorin, Mr. Thornton und den Typ an meiner Wand erkennt … *gg*
        (Wahrscheinlich hat sie aber eh schon einen ziemlich deutlichen Verdacht, warum ich ausgerechnet diese Verfilmung auf DVD habe.)

  4. The massage was a touching tribute. I would also like to recommend Kolmakov’s fan fic. She is very good at making Thorin come alive. Great romance, dialog and action.
