As promised, there are still a couple of thank you shrines to reveal, and today’s shrine is a double reveal – as in: a new shrine revealed, and the contents being revealing, too. And oops, it looks as if I was a bit hasty when photographing the shrines. Turns out I forgot to take a picture of the outside of today’s RAPS. Hmph. So well, here’s a group shot of all four thank you RAPSes, including another yet unseen shrine, too…
The ‘revealing’ RAPS is the silver shrine at the top – just a silver tin with some decorations that are actually gold but show up black in this image.
This RAPS was created for a lovely auction supporter who has a connection to New York and last year’s LLL antics. I thought it was fitting to give her this:
Yep, someone is happy to exhibit his wares… Never mind the wig btw. Let’s focus on the essentials! Well, and I suppose it is fair to say that we are happy to *see* what is revealed… That was one of the funniest scenes in the play, and I have to say that RA’s take on a 19 year-old is still really fresh in my mind. I really liked what he did there – the energy, the enthusiasm, the exaggerated expression of emotion. I don’t think I will ever be able to erase the image of a huffy Kenneth from my mind, sitting on the floor, putting on an adorable pout and bouncing on his bum like a 3-year-old throwing a tantrum. I really wish that had been caught on camera somewhere…

There is one more thank you RAPS to be revealed – as soon as the recipient has received it. Well, and in the meantime I have created another thank you gift, which takes a slightly different format. Still waiting for that to reach its destination, but can’t wait to show you.
In the meantime, I will distract myself with the pretty pictures that have come in from last weekend’s Paleyfest event. I totally loved the fan images supplied by Wine and Sweats and Teasing Armitage over on Twitter, as well as HeathRA‘s crystal clear pro pics. But today I am embedding a Getty Image here – for the glint in RA’s eye. Is he leaning in with pursed lips to make love to the camera, or is he about to make a jokey remark? Now, that would be revealing…

The tins came from Crete. I just couldn’t resist buying a couple of them. They contained a bar of olive soap.

What???? You are off to Crete! Oh, lucky you! Where will you be? Heraklion? We were in a very touristy area to the East of that (Stalis/Malia). Crete was a total shopping paradise. Lovely ceramics, great leather products, olive wood items, olive soaps etc.

I always loved having a September birthday, it’s my favorite time of the year … the heat and humidity is over and the air is in the very beginning stages of becoming crisp and cooler 😃
