Mr A is really making my Audible subscription worth while. Yet another audio book to release, soon. Another performance together with a female narrator, Emilia Fox (whom I loved in Love Virtually with David Tennant, and who is unforgettable as a very frail, ethereal Georgina Darcy in the 1995 Pride & Prejudice), this time of a work of literature that has me intrigued just on the basis of the Audible blurb:
However, I haven’t quite figured out yet whether the audio book will feature all 10 stories from Carter’s short story collection, or whether it is just “The Bloody Chamber”, the first and longest short story of the collection. I find the blurb inconclusive.

2. No, never, please. I’m afraid he’d be too good at it, and I don’t want that seered into my brain. It took me years to get over Ralph Fiennes in Schindler’s List.

Ralph Fiennes was absolutely compelling as Amon Goeth. Amazing performance – despicable character, of course.

I think people must think I’m a little insane when they saw me taking mini Guy out of my bag and taking pics of him. 😀
Yesterday I was using my car a snowy slope for the minis little sled. My neighbors were giving me funny looks, but well I guess they already think I’m weird 😀

Neither did Fiennes! RA’s got the blue eyes. All they’d have to do is dye his hair blond. We already know how well he does intimidating, sinister and threatening. I shudder to contemplate the possibility…

Do you know, I never noticed rimlight before and now I’m noticing it all the time. But what should I call the light that keeps shining through the tips of Daniel’s ears in later episodes of BS season one?
