Done: Our Spontaneous Charity Auction Is Over

And before I go to bed I just want to post the final tally of the Chop charity auction. The last few minutes of the auction saw some exciting action.

19 Euro in eight minutes! How cool!!! (I wish I earned money at that rate…) So, the Chop fan package went for a whopping

€167 / $205.92 / £146.92

I am absolutely delighted with the result and as soon as the money is transferred to me, I will donate it to Action for Children via Richard’s JustGiving page. Massive thank you to the bidders – you are stars! And all I will reveal here is that the person who placed the first bid, is also the person who placed the last – and winning – bid. Thank you, thank you, thank you! I will be in touch asap!

What a great day!!! I have had a few communications from Newcastle, and it sounds as if the event was really great. If I wasn’t jealous this afternoon of all the lucky people who were able to Newcastle, I now *totally am*. Loved all the fan photos so far. RA up, close and personal. Can’t wait to hear it in all detail from those who were there.

Good night, over and out.

    • That’s true – I really can’t complain. (I have to say, though, that I really need a little injection of the fan girl virus again, and nothing does that better than such an event. I’ve noticed that I have developed a bit of a cynical outlook lately, and I don’t really like that at all…)
