Anyone Need a #richardarmitage Fandom Badge?

Just a quick little post today. It just occurred to me that Red Dragon Con 5 is taking place in two weeks. Now, a con is probably a place where you don’t have to hold back at all that you are a fan. But to make it a bit easier, I made these badges a while back. The ‘fandom identifiers’ have been quite useful so far. Wear it, and you will let other fans know that you are a fellow fan of Richard Armitage’s. Of course these badges are nothing official – not endorsed by any celebrity, any fan site, or any fandom group as such. They are just a fun little idea, executed by an individual for no reason other than to spread a bit of fun and bring people together.Over the years I have distributed about 250 of them all over the world. I ran out of them last year, but recently had them re-printed.

There are three different types of these badges – distRActed, deRAnged and entRAnced. I’ll allocate them randomly, but you can let me know if you would prefer not to receive the “deRAnged” badge.

let me know your address, and I’ll pop one in the post for you.

 

You don’t have to be an active reader here on my blog, or my follower on Twitter and on Tumblr to get one of the badges. I am sending them to *any* fan of Richard’s, anywhere in the world, no costs involved. Because I would love it if the badges would help bring fans together.

  2. I am definitely deRAnged by Mr A! If you wouldn’t mind setting aside one of any of the three for me, pretty please, I’d be so grateful. Oh, and guess what was on sale at the store yesterday? You had to buy two bags to get the special price so I got one for you and one for me. 😂

    • OMG, noooooo. I mean yes yes yes… LOL. What can I say? Against better judgment, LoLo. Against better judgment I loooove those things that you bought 2 for 1 😉

  6. Well now I really feel foolish. Not only have I not taken a photo of the badge here in Houston but, while Funko Thorin has traveled with me thru the US, China, Russia, and 8+ European countries, did I remember the badge? Nooooo! And I have TWO of those DistRActed badges. I always wished one of them was EntRAnced or DeRAnged but apparently distracted is an apt description of me as I get older. The mind is a terrible thing to lose as I get older but at least I still remember to put on pants before going outside, at least in the front yard.

  7. I need one each for two girlfriends. One which I totally corrupted when introducing her to well, this world and the other, her long time editor that has been a long time Sir Guy fan. Only her editor friend never told anyone about her interest until she saw incriminating evidence on my iPhone at a party last July. (Really need to remove some of that.) So, 2 badges please. Let me know what moola you need from me and I’ll give it. 🎀
