Dan favors Dr Martens or Nike, but I don’t recall Richard sticking to a certain brand, does he? I’m just insanely curious what he’s paired with that black & white sweater and grey pants, which I happen to really like. shoes can make or break an outfit.

Kelly, see I like the sweater but don’t like the pants. Yes I would agree about the shoes. He has worn Nikes in the past right or those combat type of black boots or classic tennis shoes during the Italian suit heat wave crotch sweat in 2016.

I did notice. But I wouldn’t call it “he didn’t *have to*. It’s a case of “overlooked”. The usual story… RA is too polite and too considerate to push himself forward – and routinely gets overlooked. And I think he noticed it here. Did you see his facial expression in the very last second of the clip? Says it all!

yes I agree and Riley although genuine and honest was a bit rough around the edges for someone who has been to Sundance 4th time now. I do like his shoes if Kelly is reading!! What brand Kelly?
I think he is happy to be involved in promos and the co-directors seemed delightful so he probably just sat back and listened!! He sounded a bit stuffed up or maybe that is me???

Didn’t notice any cold issues. And thought Riley was refreshingly honest and sweet. I think there was a bit of a “clash of cultures” thing going on there, mostly noticeable in the continuous giggle of Ms Franz… Even though their English was fluent, it might have been a good idea to get Richard involved more – because he would’ve spoken coherently and to-the-point. In any case, a rather awkward interview, imo.

No, I am actually not that familiar with her oeuvre. I just didn’t like the way she ignored the stage door while she was playing in Love Love Love with Richard in New York. It came across as a bit aloof and arrogant.

See I am now looking at shoes b/c of your expertise and I wholeheartedly agree the right shoes complete an outfit. I liked those shoes he wore. I like the sweater-did anyone on Twitter ID the brand yet? Last year the sweater at NFF was i.d. likety split!!

Kevin Smith was the writer/director/actor of Clerks, Mallrats, Jay & Silent Bob, etc. he does a lot of comic book programs and some stand-up too. I knew he lost a lot of weight but he looks like he got run over by an airbrush machine…

Kelly he lost like 100 pounds last year b/c he had a heart attack. He was the one that got booted off a Southwest Airlines flight a few years ago b/c he couldn’t fit in the seat. He was very self-deprecating here. He is a well known director..

i treated myself to a pair of Persols for my 40th, they’re Italian, very classic styling, good quality and mine are polarized which helps when i’m driving

i was after another pair of Raybans but i couldn’t find any I liked or suited me, then i tried on the Persol-i liked tortoiseshell and i wanted something that i thought was fairly classic . Not cheap though! but it was a special birthday present to myself!

Obwohl er ja kein Neuling mehr ist, beherrscht er die Kunst sich in Szene zu setzen nicht. Das macht ihn mir einerseits sympathisch und andererseits möchte ich ihm manchmal einen kleinen Schubs geben: “Trau dich, du darfst auch mitspielen und musst nicht so schüchtern sein.”

Er ist halt absolut keine Rampensau. Das liegt ihm wohl alles nicht. Das macht ihn zwar sympathisch, aber es ist auch ein bisschen frustrierend. Naja, gehört alles so zum Gesamtpaket.

So, that hair doesn’t look fake. I’m so confused! Also, thighs are not quite as luscious as when he was heavier and more muscular — personal preference, I know. He looks good, though, and happy. The pic with Amy Ryan that he shared is nice.

The hair is a bit too short all around, especially on the sides, for my taste but eh…he’s happy and smiling so I’ll survive. As someone who has skied a lot in the past, my first thought about the stubbitage is that his usual full beard might be uncomfortable while skiing. Yes, it can keep the lovely face warm, but it can also freeze and be a pain that way. My first husband (to whom I was married when I lived in Alaska) had a lovely full beard and during the winter it was always frozen over when we were outside! We used to joke about being able to pull the icicles off of it when we’d been waiting for a bus for a long time.
