Armitage Weekly Round-up 2019/11

Delayed and still in a hurry today. Mother dear is arriving in two hour’s time, I have a birthday party to attend this evening, and my own little daughter has a significant birthday herself tomorrow… Where did the time go. And where is time flying today? Without much further ado:

No guarantees on quality 😉 (a quick look reveals that she writes reader-insert/2nd pers singular, which is not to everyone’s taste. Not sure whether they are all like that.)     I assume the roundup is stellar as usual, but tumblr is having ‘a day’ and I’ve clicked on 127 pictures with bikes in them, so I guess it just isn’t meant to be. 😘

      • No, I meant the”prove you’re not a robot” 🤖 page where you have to click all the pictures that show bikes or busses or crosswalks. I suppose you have never seen that as you have a login. Tumblr has this weird authentication feature and some days I simply can’t get past. 🤷🏻‍♀️

        • Oh, no, I do know that robot thing. And I never get past that, either. I can only access tumblr when I am on Safari. Chrome won’t do, no matter how often I click all the bikes and write in my password… Never mind. Tomorrow is another day.

  5. Thanks for sparing the time for us when you’re expecting your mum, you have a party to attend and a birthday to arrange for your daughter as well. Happy Birthday to her, and have a great time all together. 💕🎂

    On the subject of full Irishes, are you for or against baked beans on the plate? My mouth’s watering at the thought, either way.

    • Mum’s arrived – and all well.
      Full Irish – personally I am not really into baked beans that much. For me they are never really integral to an Irish breakfast. I’d associate it more with an English breakfast. But I could be wrong!!!

  8. Thanks for the great round-up Guylty and hope you are having/had a fab weekend. 1.pic, what a guy wants chooses such great pics. The luminosity on Guy’s face! He looks so beautiful, cherubic even – not normally a quality associated with Guy.
    4. In the pic with the eye graffiti,I’d never noticed before that DM is wearing a thick woolly cardigan under his great coat. 5. It has puzzled me for years why RA as DM series 1 face is so different from LN (when they had a similar look). He doesn’t look that much older, LN has the same lines etc, Perhaps it’s the eyebrows. I’ll take them both ( not just the eyebrows but DM and LN – greedy me)

    • Done – she went for her first ever pint of Guinness into the local pub with her father, brother, three uncles and a cousin-once-removed. Truly grown-up now.
