Spring may have finally arrived in Ireland. It was mild and sunny yesterday, I went straight from my winter coat to wearing no coat at all. And I needed my sunglasses! Today the family is going to convene to go to my in-laws. I think there will be traditional lamb with mint sauce for lunch, and later, a simnel cake, homemade by my English mother-in-law.
Whether you celebrate this particular religious feast or not – it’s time to welcome spring. I am savouring my first chocolate in six weeks, and look forward to eating some crisps later tonight. Oh, and I’ll finally return to Twitter. I confess, I do look forward to that. Have a lovely Sunday today, don’t overdo it on the chocolate, and keep a look out for Mr RAbbit… I hear that it is a sign of great luck when you see a dancing rabbit…

Euch allen frohe Ostern! Hier ist es auch frühlingshaft warm und sonnig. Der Osterkaffee wird heut Nachmittag sicher auf der Terrasse genossen (naja, bei mir natürlich der Tee!).

Guten Morgen und frohe Ostern an dich. Hier ist noch alles ruhig im Hause, aber Muttern rotiert, weil der Teig für den frischgebackenen Hefezopf über Nacht nicht gegangen ist. Also noch mal von vorne angesetzt. Mal sehen, ob das bis zum Frühstück um halb 10 dann alles doch gegangen und gebacken ist… Der Tag hier sieht heute schön und sonnig aus…

Happy Easter to all! It is /was sunny weather and warm so everybody was outside. The shop has cracked because nearly everybody wanted to eat asparagus this weekend. Now I have put my feet up.

I visited Helen’s studio in Holt, Norfolk (Seahorse studio) however she was on holiday with her husband in Venice . She has some beautiful jewellery and ornaments in the shop.
I bought a silver bracelet with a cat charm.
The lady minding the shop was very friendly.
