In any case, the release of A Nearly Normal Family – the audio book – is imminent. My Audible library informs me that the book will be released in two weeks’ time, on the 25th of June. It has been in my pre-orders for a while now. But interestingly Audible also offers me two versions of the book…
So don’t be fooled into clicking the pre-order button again. I nearly did.
However, I’ll go back to gorgeous SheheRAzade now, coyly smiling from behind his book. Raised eyebrow porn of the finest.

You mean, he was hinting at something? – I don’t really think so. I take his tweet at face value. I think he just meant what he said, i.e. the story is suspenseful and interesting and would make good TV… But who knows, maybe he and his own production company are on it???
And yeah, where is that production company, I wonder… He had hinted a lot about that at RDC…

Yeah I don’t know Guylty. I mean he throws these little comments out there like wink wink and to be honest nothing what he says is it ever face value? Sometimes I think he is a little too clever for himself.
Well The Stranger won’t wrap until July right? Then what does he have on tap after that? More audiobooks to keep him busy? Has he filmed S3 yet of Castlevania? or is that slotted after The Stranger? I liked that he was advertising these shows Years and Years (which I won’t start until June 24 on HBO US) and Gentleman Jack which I am watching now along with UK viewer(s) . what do you think?

There’s a good point. I usually go exactly by that – the man says a lot of things on SM, in interviews, and sometimes it feels as if he is just filling the silence.

After years of hanging on his every word, I now don’t hang on very many. So many of his messages (tweets) are cryptic, or things are mentioned or hinted at in interviews just disappear. I agree with you Guylty, sometimes he just talks to fill air time. I am not being critical, I might do the same after endless interviews covering much of the same ground. Or maybe because show business is so unpredictable, plans fall apart. BTW, not a fan of the latest beard.

I totally agree with you, Kathy. I have no problem with him waffling a bit. After all he has to keep the interest in him going. His track record is not that bad, though. There are a couple of things he has backpedalled from (the poster of Wham on his wall 😂) but generally he is fairly reliable. But I find that his hints and teases are mere entertainment, and not serious, reliable information.

You have to be careful with stubble, Michele. It can give you a rash or whisker burn. But Richard’s tongue might be worth it.

Kathy that makes sense. My sis in law gave me a makeover on Sunday for my bday and we were at Ulta Beauty and she bought this stubble lotion for razor burns. Naïve me thought for when she shaved but no she gave it to my brother for the stubble burns. Richard’s tongue would be worth the risk IMO!!!

Yeah, I like that he pumps up every work he does…but I think he does believe in most the work he does.
I wonder where he is with regard to his production company? Will be fascinating to see what direction he’ll go in.
Thankfully Borrowbox have The Guilty Ones available now…so I have it reserved. ..got to wait til September though!

He said in London that he never has any regrets about the projects he has done – and I get the impression he is also happy to spread the word about the work he does. Probably part and parcel of the job.
I was wondering about his production company in a different comment thread, too. (I think it was a convo with Michele.) No news = good news?

I, of course, love the beard. But I also like the playfulness of hiding behind a book! Which book sounds really interesting, I think. I bet that the second audiobook description is because they wanted to list Richard first this time, for maximum leveRAge of the name.
