Three post day. What can I say? I just take ’em as they come.
Hey, maybe, if we are lucky, Richard will do another ‘phone dump’ like he did after BS … Fingers crossed.
In any case, that pic above really makes him look so young. Pretty bangs…

Yeah, hes on a roll! Did you see Shaun pic of him in the car too? It’s on his instagram
This pic is odd to me, I guess because he’s got almost no expression on his face …which is why he looks so smooth and wrinkle free! And his lips look really full like that!

Yep, I saw the pic. I was actually looking for the source of the car picture when I came across this selfie by the man himself 😁.
He really does look smooth and wrinkle-free in the picture. I suspect it’s the make-up, though. (He also has his hair dyed again. Meh.)

It’s good to see him looking so well. At the weekend I finally got around to watching the DVD of Ocean’s Eight and thought he looked so thin that I feared he would disappear when he turned sideways lol

He really does look well, doesn’t he?! I can’t wait to see this show.
LOL on “Flat Claude”! Which reminds me – I haven’t watched O8 ever again. Must get myself a download of the show and watch the Claude scenes at leisure.

It gives me the creeps actually: the half face, the one dazzling eye, the plastic quality, the distortion that enlarges his chin.

I personally didn’t think it was that bad. Especially if I bear in mind that this is “disposable photography” – just made for the moment, not meant to be perused in depth ;-). But I understand what you mean. (Did you see Mat Khal’s latest manip on Twitter? She used the half-face, mirrored it and put the two identical halves together to make a whole face. Eeeek. It really doesn’t look like him at all.)

It doesn’t help that,, he reminds me here of a relative who I don’t get on with. I’ll steel myself then check out Mat Khal’s tweet …

Just seen it, ugh, shiver. It makes his hair look like one of those 1940s turbans!

*giggles* Well, it’s a great example that shows that symmetry is not necessarily perfection. And interesting exercise, really. I’ve done it in the past with pictures of my children. Unrecognisable!

He’s the prime example of slightly ‘imperfect’ parts making a perfectly lovely whole. I’ll take his face over symmetry any day.

Well said. That is exactly it. He looks attractive and interesting because the handsomeness is not all smooth and predictable. (I wish he’d see it like that, too.)

Alas, like all of us, he’s only human and his own worst critic.

Indeed. He has my sympathies for that.

Yes, it is the ‘flaws’ that make perfection.

He seems to have really enjoyed this project. I think some of the younger cast energized him and unleashed some playfulness. It’s really good to see him happy and excited with a role. His banter with Sean Dooley was hilarious.

I haven’t read the book, but by the look of things he’s playing a character who is not ambiguous but a full-blown positive character, the hero of the piece, 100% innocent victim of circumstances. I am sure that must leave an effect on him, Mr Methodman… Plus, familiar producers, colleagues he connected with, and a couple of young actors (who he seems to enjoy working with in general). I hope it all translates into a great show on screen.

Without saying too much, Adam is a good guy but not infalliable. He’s probably the most average guy he’s played.

Hehe, fine with me. Including being fallible. Sounds relatable 😉

Agree, Rachel. After reading the book, Adam is the kind of chaRActer I’ve been hoping Richard would play for a long time now.

I actually think that our expectations will not be disappointed. Coben writes suspenseful stories – Red Prod. have proven they are good at visualising them. As for the cast – we know that at least one of them is definitely good.

I did read the book and enjoyed it. He definitely is a victim of circumstance and the hero. I expect with the adaptation from book to series there will be some changes made but hopefully not many. It has the potential to be a really great series.

That all sounds very good! I have resisted reading the book, so I am hoping to see a relatable character.
