2022 Armitage Weekly Round-up #13

Today’s delay comes courtesy of a fan meet. it has been a long time coming, and now that I finally managed to leave the little island, I made sure to visit Kate on my way South to see Little Miss Guylty… It’s been a really fun visit, despite a rather unusual weather situation…

We had snow yesterday – on the first of April… Luckily I was travelling by train, so the snow did not really matter much for me… Anyway, before I move on, I asked Kate to guest-edit today’s round-up. Here it comes…

  1. A really nice round-up. #3 it’s a whole little movie. There are also many photos from the Crucible Rehearsals.
    Love the flower picture with snow. A lot of snow here too. Maybe I should go dig some daffodils out from under the snow 😂.
    Wow, Porter on Kate’s big screen. Mr. Kate let you do it? (no interruptions in the supply of power etc. 😉)

    • I am now on the train towards my next destination, going South. There is still some snow on the fields, but I think it is beginning to melt. What a weird beginning of April…

    • #3 really was a little mini movie. I liked it a lot.
      Mr. Kate watched something else in the living room while Guylty and I chatted and enjoyed Portah in the home cinema. Win-win for all involved. 😁

        I watched Into the Storm with Mr. Graza yesterday. He said I should recommend this movie with our actor to you all and was disappointed to hear that all had seen it by now 😂.

          • Yes, I saw this film for the first time. The movie is good. The first movie with RA that Mr. Graza liked as much as I or tbh even better 😊. For me it is an american family movie, a bit artificial. But it is nice in its kind. I liked it even more than Ocean’s 8, which surprised me because I also like Sandra. Special effects were fine (no flying cows – we’ve seen it before in some tornado movie and we always laugh at it), some water scenes for Richard. I wonder how they shot that scene where the meteorologist nearly flew away. Mr. Graza was laughing that they produced the biggest tornado ever especially for our Mr. Actor. However, I think I am more interested how RA created the role of Francis Dolarhyde. Not that I like horror movies, but the role seems more interesting. Or see My Zoe. Just found Castlevania on our Netflix, I like Trevor 😊. We both liked Into the storm and it was funny to watch it together.

          • Oh, he has (I tempted him with the tornado 😂) and for the first time he immediately recognised RA 😊. Do you remember this first breakfast scene with RA? At this moment Mr. Graza said: he looks good. Me: ..??? Mr. Graza: he looks too good for a 65-year-old teacher. Me: 🤦 he will be 65 in 20 years as he will watch the time capsule video. Mr. Graza: well then that’s okay, it’s more plausible and reassuring.
            I wonder if I should persuade him to watch SB and if this’s a good idea…

        • Always love Guy. 🖤Ray is an interesting character, but I also have trouble motivating myself to watch things these days. Reading is easier somehow. And watching alone is never as much fun, so getting to watch with Guylty was really lovely.
