Xmas is coming up close. I am leaving for home on Saturday, so I have to get this little surprise out quick: Let’s do a little end-of-year raffle – a thank you to all of you who have been reading here through the year and/or followed me on Twitter. The RA Xmas Sphere (RAXS) seems to have gone down well, and since I bought a few of those clear, fillable baubles, I decided to make another one yesterday and give it up for a raffle.
I have had such fun with RA (virtually) and the fans, this year, and it all culminated in November when I was lucky enough to attend the screenings of UATSC in Leeds. RA and his fans were gorgeous, and I had the best of times because I came away with many many photos (which you can either see here on my blog in part 1 and part 2 of my write-up, as well as the full loot in the Guylty Images gallery), or in richardarmitagenet’s complete UATSC candids gallery that also has many other images from the event. As a little souvenir/memory, I had a simple A4-size wall calendar made, which I am throwing into the raffle, too. (You can click the pics below to enlarge.)
So, if you would like to win the goodies, there are two methods to be in the draw: Everyone who comments here on the post, will get their name thrown in the hat. (The other way to participate is by RT’ing a corresponding tweet on Twitter (not the one that announces this post but the designated raffle tweet with pictures I have scheduled just after this.) Raffle closes Wednesday, 16 December, 2015, 8am GMT. Then I’ll let randompicker decide on a winner and announce her. Should you win, be prepared to send me your address so that I can get that parcel on its way to you. I’d love for it to arrive before Christmas…
Thanks everybody 💜
Oh Guylty,I love the RAXS, absolutely gorgeous! And the calender looks yumm from the preview. But most of all… I am again blown away by your generosity! Thank you. And yeah, count me in for the raffle. 🙂

Hehe, the understated RA-ness is quite soothing after all my blingy, love-hearty shrines, isn’t it?
And no, I am not generous at all. I am only giving back what I have received myself. It’s simply fun to give away presents 😊

I really like the ornament, festive yet understated 😎 ! I don’t think it would cause *too* many complaints if it ended up on my tree… 😀

Hehe, yes, that’s what I hoped. I kept the naked truth out of the bauble, in order to make it compatible with a) prying husband-y eyes, and b) the solemnity of the religious tradition. Well. It’s RL RA, but his smile really spreads the Christmas cheer, so I think it is fitting enough…

One of my favourite pictures and of course it is his smile that gets me, not to mention the bare ankles although you seem to hidden them in the snow? 😉 You are such a talented and generous person, Guylty, and feel honoured to be the recipient of more than one example of your amazing handiwork! Have a wonderful Christmas!!

Yes, the ankles are sort of hidden – reason being that in the original picture, the photographer framed the image in such a way that his right foot was cut 😦 So I had to obscure it with “snow” 😉
Thank you for your lovely comment, Teuchter – and happy Christmas to you, too xx

I was hoping to afford something nice – artificial, but that’s not happening so I’ll just make do. I had a white tree for years and all of my ornaments and lights are geared for that, so I guess i’ll be buying another white tree. There is a CHEAP one at one of the discount stores. We’ll see how gnarly it looks when I put it up.

I’m not having any at home this year bar nice candles and a beautiful flower i have been gifted with, i just don’t have the time. But at least i’m getting Xmas stuff for my visit to parents which is keeping me running round like a mad rabbit trying to get everything in thousand different shops sigh.. I’ll get there somehow if i keep at it today and tomorrow, but must do lost or else it will be chaos… Problem with foodies things is it can only be procured last minute…

I’ve unpacked my Naughty Nice shovel and my Fitz and Floyd Snowman playing the piano. And my Christmas dishes!!! (And Casserole dish! That’s been about it so far. I have SOME of my Christmas boxes to the side, I’ll get to them later. I’m not in much of a mood to decorate, as i’ll be going home early next week and won’t return for a week. I DO want to have the tree up and the train up because Spawn will be looking for it. He’s missed it. (the Train. It’s just not Christmas without it.)

Naughty nice shovel. Hm. I think I need to google that. Intriguing it sounds. And definitely have the train up for Spawn. Boys and their toys…

It’s the season to be merry – and crafty… Well, it’s all about priorities, Hari. And let me tell you – I am not nearly as crafty as I would like to be. Work has become really busy (my workload in my London agency seems to have quadrupled in November and December *eeeek*), and I haven’t had the time to do all my Christmas cards, either. I just bought loads of stamps – so there’s the incentive to get the cards written…

I’m away at the moment with hubby on a work trip, so Christmas cards have to wait til I’m back home tomorrow night, but our tree and decorations are up, and most presents accounted for. My family celebration will be on Monday so Christmas Day itself will be much quieter this year – nowhere near the preparation required. 🙂
Many thanks to you Guylty and all here for a year of fun, smiles, creativity, generosity, fandom friendship and drooling. Wishing you all the best for Christmas everyone!
