Is writing the second Christmas message after last year’s and using this year’s premiere picture for it already the establishing of a tradition? Well, in any case, like last year, I just wanted to wish you a happy Christmas (again) before I am swallowed up by the festivities. I have already received my presents – a year full of wonderful encounters, all-encompassing creativity and touching messages. The last one came yesterday – not just for me of course, but Mr A’s Christmas message warmed my heart in many ways. Could he be anymore adorable? And I don’t mean that in a cutesy-tootsy way. I just admire the way he attempts to lead by example, asking for nothing, giving credit, spreading positivity, culminating in the resolution to think less about himself. Bless, Richard – unusual words to hear from a performer, a celebrity, a professional in a business that is characterised by ruthless self-promotion and self-focus, but a reminder that maybe you are – contradictorily – something *more* than that, “just” a decent man. Saintly! 😉 I think we can forget Santa.

Well my attempts at artistic shots of the badge and Sydney landmarks were a complete and utter disaster. I’m too ashamed to send them to you- you being a professional an’all. I think too much sun and champagne may have played their part. 😉 although I do come from a long line of crap photographers to so the omens were never good. Will try again…
But the film was amazing! I’m still on a high 24 hours later
