… shed. 😉 Overnight more bids have come in and we have cracked the €1,500 total. Disclaimer: When I give you these numbers, please bear in mind that they are the *gross* numbers, i.e. they do not take into account the various fees (listing, transaction) and postage costs that will be deducted from the  final donation figure. However, big thanks to the latest bidders who have continued pushing the prices.

I had announced in the kick-off post on Saturday that I would add the finishing times of all auctions, but I never got ’round to updating that post. So I am going to do that now in this post as a handy place to go back to in case you have put in a bid and want to make sure your item doesn’t get snatched away at the last second.

Once the fundraiser auctions conclude at 7.08pm on Tuesday, we will sell lower-priced items as simple purchasing transactions on my Pattern by Etsy site. I will need a little bit of time to deal with the (inevitable) auction rush but aim to start the first batch of fixed-price sale items at 8pm. So set yourself an alarm for that time – the last fixed-price sale proved to be quite the shopping frenzy, because some items are only available at fewer numbers and were thus snapped up immediately. But reminder: I will put the second batch of fixed-price sale items live on Wednesday morning (around 9am – time to be confirmed) to provide a second chance at getting one of those coveted one-off gems.

We have also received the first donation of money to the fundraiser. This is a handy way to contribute in case you do not wish to bid on an item. You can do so via this specific link to my Paypal account. Your donation will be added to the final sum. It helps to off-set postage and fees. The proceeds of the auctions and fixed-price sale are to benefit the hospice care charity LOROS, in lieu of Christmas presents for Richard. The donation will be made after all auctions and the fixed-price sale have ended.
